LIVE MUSIC - TENISE MARIE

Tenise Marie is a Canadian singer-songwriter from Argenta, BC, known for her vulnerable lyrics and unique blend of western and eastern folk music, reflecting her mixed European and Assyrian heritage. A multi-instrumentalist, she accompanies her soulful vocals with acoustic guitar and oud, creating an emotional experience for her audience. Recently, Tenise undertook a Research & Creation project with the Canada Council for the Arts, traveling to Northern Iraq and performing a concert series titled "Argenta to Atra," featuring Assyrian folk songs and original works inspired by her journey.
